Radiology
Radiology is a branch of medicine that uses x-rays, radioactive isotopes, magnetic fields and sound waves to image the bones and internal organs in the body. The tests are performed by an x-ray technologist and then a radiologist, a doctor who is trained to evaluate imaging studies in the Radiology Department, studies the images and reports the findings to your doctor.
Our Mission
The Imaging Department is a part of a team working for one common goal -- to preserve, maintain or restore health to the individual. We make up one small, important part of that team that plays a very essential part in the practice of the art and science of medicine.
